Benefits company CEO named
to review panel
CSA’s Repass selected for knowledge and experience
Tom Repass of Johnson City, Tenn., chief executive
officer of Corporate Systems Administration Inc., was selected to serve
in an advisory capacity for one of the nation’s leading business insurers.
Repass is founder of CSA, which provides employee benefit management services
to major employers in the Southeast.
Repass accepted an appointment on the Group General Agency
Council of Harleysville Life Insurance.
Harleysville selected the panel of seven from general
agents across the eastern United States, based on experience and knowledge of
the insurance industry.
“We will advise on policy design and underwriting criteria
as well as service and performance,” Repass said. “We will provide input on
behalf of our clients who use their insurance services with self funded plans.
We also represent all agents and third-party administrators who do business
with Harleysville.”
Repass has 31 years’ experience in group insurance and
founded CSA as a third-party administration firm in 1980. CSA helps employers
offer affordable and efficient health care coverage. Services include the
design of self-funded plans, cost management and expert local administration
from CSA’s locations in Johnson City and Savannah, Ga. CSA’s products include
Harleysville group life and disability insurance.
Headquartered in Harleysville, Penn., the Harleysville

among the nation’s premier providers of insurance, with operations in 19 states
and offering a variety of insurance products and services.
Repass also has served as chairman of the National
Association of Employee Benefit Administrators and is president of Qubic Inc.,
a national consortium of third-party administrators. In 2002, Repass
represented CSA as one of only five firms in the nation to receive an
outstanding sales achievement award from Highmark Life and Casualty Group.
